Michael McCarthy
Biography
Michael McCarthy (born 1942) is a British television sound supervisor and sound designer. He worked extensively on British television programmes including Steptoe and Son, Doctor Who, Dad's Army and The Two Ronnies. He won a BAFTA Television Craft Award for his sound work on The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy and received another for his work on The Two Ronnies and Grace Kennedy.
